Program Objectives

  • 85% of non-senior secondary school participants served during each project period will be promoted to the next grade level at the end of each academic school year.
  • 80% of high school seniors (and their equivalents in alternative education programs) will graduate or receive a certificate of high school equivalency during each project period.
  • 90% of "college ready" project participants will apply for financial aid each project period.
  • 95% of "college ready" project participants will apply for postsecondary school admission during each project period.
  • 75% of "college ready" participants will enroll in a program of postsecondary education during each project period (or during the next fall term).

FY 05-06 Annual Performance Report Highlights

 

  • 72% of participants served were from low income and first generation college families.
  • 99% of secondary participants continued in secondary school for the next academic term.
  • 99% of senior participants served graduated from secondary education this project year.
  • 83% of high school graduates enrolled in post-secondary education this project year.
  • 90% of college ready senior participants received assistance with admissions and financial aid paperwork in preparing for college enrollment.
