We are San Antonio

UTSA is located in the nation's seventh-largest city and Texas' top tourist destination, San Antonio. Home to the Alamo, other Spanish missions and a rich history of diverse cultures, the city is an amazing environment in which to learn, discover and grow. Whether you take classes at the Main Campus or Downtown Campus, as a UTSA student, you can take advantage of all that the Alamo City has to offer.
Main Campus
The Main Campus is the hub of UTSA, where Roadrunners discover an exciting community with bustling activity occurring almost 24/7. At the foot of the Texas Hill Country but within walking distance of La Cantera's beautiful outdoor mall and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Main Campus enjoys a scenic landscape with the conveniences of a major city. Students here can always be found studying late into the night for an exam, cheering on the basketball team in the Convocation Center or playing sand volleyball with friends. With four residence halls, the Main Campus is where 3,700 Roadrunners live, eat and sleep each school year. Another 5,000 students live within walking distance of campus.
Downtown Campus
The Downtown Campus adds to the beauty of the Alamo City with its modern architecture and is a sight to admire as you drive through downtown. Just a stone's throw away from the River Walk and El Mercado, the campus is located in the heart of San Antonio's vibrant social and cultural scenes. Over 6,400 students choose to take classes on the Downtown Campus, where you can complete all of your core classes or enroll in one of 19 undergraduate and eight graduate degree programs which can be completed here in their entirety.
HemisFair Park Campus
The HemisFair Park Campus is home to the Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC), which hosts exhibits and live performances and is a wonderful place to learn about the cultural history and traditions of the Lone Star State. As a Smithsonian Affliliate, the ITC benefits from artifacts and educational programs shared by an exclusive group of member museums. The HemisFair Park Campus is positioned directly across from the Alamodome, the 65,000-seat home of Roadrunner Football, kicking off in fall 2011.
