1604 Campus

UTSA's 1604 Campus opened in 1975 with only seven buildings on the edge of the Texas Hill Country. Today, the growing campus includes on-campus housing, athletics facilities and number of new academic facilities, some of which are under construction. But the heart of the campus remains the Sombrilla, a covered plaza where students can eat, study or just hang out.
