Submit a Report
If you are concerned about a student, faculty member, staff member or visitor's behavior that may pose a potential threat to themselves or others, submit a BIT Incident Report. Provide as much information as you can. The more information we have, the easier it is for us to handle a situation in a comprehensive manner.
The following are a few things to keep in mind when submitting a report:
- Has the individual talked about suicide or expressed hopelessness?
- Are you concerned the individual is experiencing mental or emotional instability?
- Has their behavior raised concerns for your or others' safety?
- Have you noticed a significant change in their behavior?
- Has the individual made any comments about committing acts of violence?
- Has the individual's concerning behavior persisted or worsened?
Contact UTSA Police immediately at 210-458-4911 if an individual demonstrates behavior that indicates possible violence or danger.
