Elisabeth Cuadros ‘05, PhD, director of Disbursements and Travel Services (DTS) in Financial Affairs, has been selected to join the highly competitive National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Emerging Leaders Program for 2025–26.

A UT San Antonio alumna, Cuadros brings more than a decade of experience in accounts payable, travel services and university operations. Before her current role, she held several positions in Financial Affairs, including assistant director of DTS and senior payroll and funding analyst. Her deep institutional knowledge, leadership experience and commitment to innovation were cited as key factors in her selection.

“Being selected for this program is an honor,” said Cuadros. “What excites me most is bringing back ideas that make life easier for our campus. DTS touches everyone, and if I can help make our processes smoother and our service kinder, then we all win.”

Through her participation in NACUBO’s year-long Emerging Leaders Program, which includes mentorship, peer networking and workshops, Cuadros will further build her skills to support the university’s mission and long-term financial stewardship, allowing her to strengthen her leadership and bring new ideas back to DTS and the broader finance community.

Cuadros holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a Master of Science in Finance from UT San Antonio. She also earned a PhD in leadership studies from Our Lady of the Lake University and a PhD in conscious business ethics from the University of Sedona.
