UTSA is actively recruiting for a variety of staff and faculty positions. In response to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and to support the health and well-being of our university community, Human Resources would like to provide you with the following updates.   Current social distancing guidance has affected our typical hiring process, and in some cases, requires adjustment to timelines for hiring. Until further notice, UTSA will conduct interviews virtually. Current searches may continue as planned or be placed on hold. Candidates in searches placed on hold will receive email notification.  UTSA is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and is receiving guidance from international, U.S., Texas and local public health officials.

UTSA participates in E-Verify

If you are offered a position at UTSA, you must come to the Human Resources Office (4th floor North Paseo Bldg) on your first day of employment with appropriate documentation of your identity and ability to legally work in the United States.

  • Click the Sign In link located on the top navigation bar, enter your username and password.

Internal Applicants

In your Employee Self-Service, click on the UTSA Staff Careers. Search for position by Keyword, Location, Department or Job Family.

Annual Campus Security Report
Each year The University of Texas at San Antonio publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. This report contains crime statistics and on-campus housing fire statistics for the three most recent calendar years. The report includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, crime reporting, sexual assault, and other crime related issues.

If you are a TRS return to work (RTW) retiree, you will be financially responsible for a portion of the TRS surcharges. Please contact the UTSA Benefits office at 210-458-4250 for more details.

Pay Transparency
The University of Texas at San Antonio will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the University, or (c) consistent with the University’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)

Benefit eligible employees who have been in their current position less than 6 months may need a waiver of the "No Transfer" policy.
