Employment Verification
Employee Access to The Work Number

Typically, an employee would not need to access The Work Number site to gain a Verification of Employment as their lender should be doing that.

If you are an employee and are having issue with getting a verification of employment through The Work Number, contact UTSA Employee Records at or (210) 458-7210.

There are three situations where an employee would want to access the site to:

  • Obtain a Employment Data Report
  • File a Data Dispute
  • Provide a Salary Key

You will need three pieces of information to access “The Work Number” site:

  1. Your employee ID (600XXXXXXX), which can be found on our pay slip.  If you don’t know your Employee ID, you can obtain it by visiting:  Log on to that site using your UTSA Network ID and you will be presented a screen with your basic data, which includes your UTSA Employee ID (Empl ID).
  2. The UTSA Employer Code, which is 13944.
  3. A PIN. The first time you access the Work Number site you must enter a default PIN which is the last four digits of your SSN and your four digit year of birth (xxxx1950).
