Performance of Shakespeare’s Richard III

In November, The Drama Through Performance Troupe of the Department of English performed Shakespeare’s Richard III in the Buena Vista Theater. The play, one of Shakespeare’s most popular and dark history plays, begins with Richard’s famous lines “Now is the winter of our discontent” and comes to an end as Richard proclaims “A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!” The performers, all students in THR 1013 and ENG 4953 classes worked under the direction of Professor Lynn Oliver, who joined UTSA this year after a career of more than 20 years as an actor, singer, agent, and director.
