College of Architecture Lecture Series

The College of Architecture started this semester’s lecture series with Elizabeth Heider: Mapping the Future and Using Data to Accelerate Market Transformaton. Ms. Heider is Senior Vice President of Green Markets for Skanska USA, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups.

Kate Orff, assistant professor at Columbia University and the founding principal of SCAPE, a landscape architecture and urban design studio based in Manhattan, focused her presentation on her book Petrochemical America.

The third lecture in this series was presented by Eran Ben-Joseph, head of the Joint Program in City Design and Development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He discussed ways to reinvent the parking lot.
