Dining venues such as the Roadrunner Café and food courts are open with limited seating capacities for social distancing. No self-service buffets are available, and take-away meals are encouraged. New technology has been implemented to reduce contact where possible, including cashless/touchless pay options, mobile ordering and self-checkout. Visit UTSA Dining for up-to-date hours info.

Parking permits for the academic year 2020-2021 are currently available for purchase. You may purchase your permit now, or you may wait until later in the summer to make a purchase based on your needs and the conditions of the university.

At this time, parking permits are not required in Employee A, Employee B, Resident, or Commuter student spaces. Additionally, the parking garages will be open and available for parking at no charge.

UTSA is continuing to review applications and admit students as it did prior to the onset of the pandemic. SAT/ACT requirements have been temporarily suspended for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 undergraduate admission, as well as Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. The deadline for Fall 2020 admission has been extended to July 31. The university has also temporarily suspended the GRE requirement for admission to the UTSA Graduate School. At the same time, our Keep Running With Us program, which provides top performing UTSA grads with automatic admission to certain master’s programs, has been popular with new students.

Everyone must wear a face covering inside Campus Rec except when active on cardio equipment. All equipment has been spaced out according to physical distancing requirements to align with national guidelines and parameters set by the Public Health Task Force.

UTSA's football season is now underway with a comprehensive plan in place for fans to attend home football games as safely as possible at the Alamodome. The schedule for football games can be found on the  UTSA Athletics website.  UTSA students can attend home football games at no charge. More information about student tickets can be found here.

Roadrunners can now request a UTSACard online. Upload your photo, follow the emailed prompts and receive your card in the mail. Learn more.

We recommend you purchase your course materials and other supplies through the Rowdy Campus Store or the Rowdy Store Downtown websites. Course materials can be shipped to your home or picked up at the store. If you're picking up items, be sure to check the hours of operation:

No. The fall 2020 semester is designed around accessibility and flexibility to allow students to complete the semester from home.

Work study funding remains available to eligible students through their financial aid package. Positions will be available to students regardless of whether they are taking online or in-person classes. Some positions will be remote. Work study positions are posted on Handshake via the UTSA Career Center.
