Telecommuting & You

Telecommuting changed the way most of us operate on a daily basis. You’re becoming proficient in Teams, Webex and other remote tools, as well as finding new ways to engage your co-workers. Take some time to explore these resources, which can help further your professional development and telecommuting know-how, as well as provide fun ways to virtually connect with your team.

UTSA Learning Zone
The UTSA Learning Zone is an online learning platform provides just-in-time access to learning modules, articles and books on personal and professional development. The platform is self-paced, meaning you can access it at your own time and track your progress as you complete each learning aid. The Learning Zone is available to all UTSA faculty, staff and student employees. We packaged a set of courses specifically geared toward telecommuting. These courses include using Microsoft Teams, virtual team challenges, managing stress and productivity in your personal life.

LinkedIn Learning
UTSA students, faculty and staff now have access to LinkedIn Learning, an on-demand learning solution designed to help you gain new skills and training to advance your career. LinkedIn Learning offers a customized learning experience featuring instructional content relevant to your professional interests and goals.

Tech Café Training
The UTS Tech Café supports students, faculty and staff with all their technology needs. They offer daily training and Q&A sessions on telecommuting tools, including Webex Meetings, Jabber and Microsoft Teams.
