The University of Texas at San Antonio (“UTSA”) will be holding COVD-19 vaccine clinics (each a “Clinic”, and collectively the “Clinics”) at Student Union Denman Ballroom (SU 2.01.28) on the dates and times posted at utsa.edu/vaxxed2win. The Clinics are open to all UTSA faculty, staff and students, and the family members of the same. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and/or the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine will be available at the Clinics and provided by appointment (please go to utsa.edu/vaxxed2win to sign up) or by walking in during the noted hours, subject to availability of space and supplies. All of those attending the Clinics must abide by all applicable UTSA public health protocols.

UTSA strongly encourages everyone to obtain the vaccine as a means of protecting oneself as well as the surrounding community. As an incentive to participate in the Clinics and obtain the vaccine, UTSA will be providing everyone who receives a vaccine during one of the Clinics a $10 Rowdy Dollars Gift Card, while supplies last. In addition, all current and enrolled UTSA students, faculty and staff getting the vaccine at a Clinic will be able to fill out, at that time, one (1) entry form for participation in the sweepstakes further described below (“Sweepstakes”).

  1. Sweepstakes:
    1. One (1) winner will be randomly selected each Monday via a weekly drawing of the previous week’s entries. The selections for each week’s winner shall be held beginning Monday, June 21 (for the week of June 14-June 20) and concluding with Monday, August 16 (for the week of August 9-August 15).
    2. Winners will be notified via phone and/or email, and as otherwise determined by UTSA, and provided with further instructions. Winners must confirm acceptance of selection and Prize within 48 hours of notification, and as may be further specified by UTSA.
    3. UTSA reserves the right, and winner agrees by acceptance of selection and Prize, to publicize the winner’s name and other biographical data.
  2. Eligibility:
    1. • As the Prize value is considered taxable income, some tax considerations are as follows:
        • If the winner is a UTSA employee: The Prize value is taxable to the employee as wages, included on the employee's Form W–2, and subject to payroll taxes and income tax withholding.
