Current Office Hours and Services

 

The vast majority of UTSA offices and services are up-and-running for the fall semester, ready to assist students and visitors with their needs. Most are offering virtual office hours, services and programming, with some select in-person services available.

 

Available Physically & Virtually

  • Main Campus facility is open - see facility hours page for up-to-date hours information.
  • The Downtown Fitness Center is currently closed.
  • Mask and UTSACard are required for entry into Campus Recreation facilities.
  • Visit campusrec.utsa.edu or follow us on social @UTSARec for information on online and in-person programming.
  • After Thanksgiving break: Campus Rec’s hours will adjust to Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Campus Services on the Main Campus is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Hours are subject to change. 
  • UTSACard: request your UTSACard virtually. Submit your photo online and receive your card in the mail

Central Receiving and Mail Services

  • Central Receiving and Mail Services are continuing to receive shipments and mail, but on-campus deliveries are by appointment only.

  • After Thanksgiving break: Central Receiving and Mail Services hours will remain unchanged.
  • Services are available to currently enrolled students via phone and video conference.
  • In-person services are provided at the counselor’s discretion at the Main Campus clinic.
  • The Downtown Campus clinic is closed.
  • Counseling and Mental Health Services will maintain regular Fall office hours through December 11:

    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    Wednesday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
    Drop in hours:  Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    After December 11, the office will operate Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. including skeleton crew work days.
    • RowdyPay is available 24 hours a day for payments and account information.
    • Email your questions from your preferred email address to fiscal.services@utsa.edu. Responses are delivered within 1-2 days.
    • Fiscal Services representatives are available by phone:
      • Main Campus: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
      • Downtown Campus: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • After Thanksgiving break: Fiscal Services will not offer in-person services from Nov. 30, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021. Representatives can be reached by phone or email.

  • In-person services are available at the Main Campus office and through the Adaptive Test Center on a limited basis and by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.  3 p.m.
  • All SDS staff are available virtually Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.  5 p.m.

  • Starting Monday, December 21, RN triage and front office skeleton crew will be available during service hours.

  • Masks are required for entry into Student Union buildings and services. 
  • Information Desk is available to answer questions in-person and via Live Chat Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. 
  • Events Management and Conference Services is open Monday – Friday, 9 a.m.  5 p.m. to check out study rooms and assist with event reservations.

  • After Thanksgiving break: The Student Union's hours will adjust to 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. weekdays.
  • Open Monday  Friday, 8 a.m.  1 p.m. at the Main Campus for advanced testing appointments made through ASAP or testing.utsa.edu. No walk-in appointments available.  The Downtown Campus Testing office is open for appointments and events on specific days.
  • Phones and emails answered remotely Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.  5 p.m.
  • TSI, PACE, FACT and IS 1403 exams are offered virtually as well as in-person by appointment.
  • Due to social distancing guidelines, only examinees with an appointment may come to the Testing Services office.
  • All examinees must wear a mask throughout testing events.
  • National Testing Events such as SAT, ACT are being held as scheduled at the Main campus.
  • Physical Drop-in appointments available Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Virtual Drop-in appointments available Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 – 4 p.m.
  • Virtual Career Counseling Appointments available on Handshake.
  • After Thanksgiving break: In-person appointments will not be available, but all other services will continue to be provided virtually in the following ways:

  • Masks are required in the store and occupancy is restricted to ensure safety.

  • No self-service buffets are offered, and take-away meals are encouraged.
