TxDOT Update: I-10/La Cantera Ramp Closures

Beginning Monday, June 8, 2026, the eastbound I-10/La Cantera Parkway exit and entrance ramps will close and the eastbound I-10 entrance ramp just east of Camp Bullis Road will open. Drivers who use the I-10/La Cantera Parkway ramps when traveling to and from the Main Campus should plan ahead and use suggested detours and alternate routes.

Detour Information

Eastbound I-10 Entrance Ramp

Drivers on La Cantera Parkway looking to access the eastbound I-10 mainlanes will head westbound on the I-10 frontage road and use the U-turn at Camp Bullis Road, entering the eastbound I-10 frontage road. Drivers may then enter the eastbound I-10 mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp.

Eastbound I-10 Exit Ramp

Drivers eastbound on I-10 looking to exit to La Cantera Parkway via Exit 556B will use Exit 555 to enter the eastbound I-10 frontage road. They will then follow it through the La Cantera Parkway intersection.
