Unplanned Restroom Closures at Frio Street Building
An unplanned restroom closure has occurred at the Frio Street Building (FS) at Downtown Campus due to emergency repairs. During the outage, restrooms on the building’s south side will be unavailable until repairs are completed.

Planned Natural Gas Testing - AET, BSE, HSU, SEB, STEP
Testing scheduled for 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, will affect natural gas and heating hot water access for the following buildings: Applied Engineering and Technology Building (AET), Biotechnology Sciences and Engineering Building (BSE), H-E-B Student Union (HSU), Science and Engineering Building (SEB) and South Thermal Energy Plant (STEP).

Roof Repair Construction Noise - Frio Street Building
Due to roof repairs on the 4th floor patio of the Frio Street Building (FS) at the Downtown Campus, occupants may experience increased noise. Repairs will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, June 25, through Friday, June 26.

Scheduled Deionized Water Shutdown at BSE
As part of an ongoing project, construction will be making changes to a deionized (DI) water line in the Biotechnology Sciences and Engineering Building (BSE). To perform the work, a shutdown to the DI water system in the BSE is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, June 29.

Unplanned Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Outage - BSB, FLN
An unplanned reverse osmosis (RO) water outage has occurred at the Biosciences Building (BSB) and Peter T. Flawn Building (FLN) on the Main Campus. At this time, RO water is unavailable throughout both buildings. Facilities is currently conducting repairs to restore the RO water as quickly as possible.

TxDOT Update: I-10/La Cantera Ramp Closures
Beginning Monday, June 8, 2026, the eastbound I-10/La Cantera Parkway exit and entrance ramps will close and the eastbound I-10 entrance ramp just east of Camp Bullis Road will open. Drivers who use the I-10/La Cantera Parkway ramps when traveling to and from the Main Campus should plan ahead and use suggested detours and alternate routes.
