Exhibit's Opening Reception is February 8; Exhibit Runs through June 10


VOZ, Selections from the UTSA Art Collection is a new exhibit of Latinx artists curated by Arturo Infante Almeida, Art Specialist and Curator for the UTSA Art Collection

What: 222 pieces of art created by Latino and Latino artists, most of whom are from San Antonio. This exhibit, one of largest ever of its type, is part of the city’s 300th Anniversary celebration.

Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, February 8, 2018 6-9 p.m.
The opening reception and the exhibit itself are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Mondays.

About Arturo Infante Almeida

A committed advocate of San Antonio's arts community, Arturo Infante Almeida has served as curator of The UTSA Art Collection since 2002. Dedicated to promoting San Antonio and South Texas artists, he is committed to advancing the region's thriving art community by promoting new exhibitions spaces and opportunities for cultural exchange with partnering museums, galleries and artists. In 2009 he initiated The Texas Contemporary Artists Series at the Institute of Texas Cultures.
