HR Business Partners
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) team provides support and resources to employees and leaders across the university, serving as a consultant and advisor on human resources matters.
Your designated HRBP works to ensure fair and ethical people practices and processes, and collaborates with stakeholders to proactively identify human resources needs and strategies that align to, and support, the overall strategic objectives of the department/division. HRBPs are strategic partners and resources for change management, leadership development, workforce strategy, strategic staffing, organizational design, employee engagement and employee relations.

Employee Relations Support
UT San Antonio encourages fair and efficient solutions for problems arising out of the employment relationship while maintaining high standards for employee conduct and performance and meeting the applicable requirements of state and federal law.
While effectively identifying and correcting unacceptable work performance and conduct through progressive steps is encouraged, the university reserves the right to determine the appropriate level of disciplinary action based on the seriousness and gravity of the employee’s conduct or work performance.
Please partner with your HR Business Partner regarding workplace related concerns to ensure appropriate next steps are taken and supports are provided. You may also submit a concern to the HR Business Partner team through our online People Excellence Concern form.
