The LEAD Summer Academy is an exciting UTSA program for selected first-year students who will start their summer off with an enriching experience. Students who were offered admission through the LEAD Summer Academy are required to participate in the program if they want to be fully admitted to UTSA. The program provides opportunities for students to “take a LEAD” by enrolling in two courses, connecting with a peer mentor, developing strong academic skills, and learning about campus resources.
How do I successfully complete LEAD:
- Successfully complete your two summer courses in Good Academic Standing ( minimum 2.0 GPA).
- Attend & participate in the weekly mandatory LEAD events that will occur during the duration of the program: July 2 nd-August 6 th, 2025.
