Cost & Aid

What does it cost to participate?

LEAD students will be enrolled in two summer courses. Your cost is the tuition and fees for these 6 hours. The cost for two summer courses is approximately $2,600 in tuition and fees. Textbooks, housing, meal plans, and other miscellaneous costs are not included in the tuition and fees. There is no additional fee for participating in the LEAD program.

Is there financial aid available?

To receive financial aid for summer 2024, students must fill out the 2023-2024 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine what options are available. There is no guarantee grant funding will be available, but has been offered to qualified students in previous summers. Students may also qualify for federal loans. It is important to submit the appropriate FAFSA form as soon as possible to increase the possibility of receiving aid.

Please note that the 2024-2025 FAFSA for fall/spring is separate and it will not impact your summer financial aid package.
