Are in-person campus events allowed to take place?

PermalinkIs food service available on campus?
Dining venues such as the Roadrunner Café and food courts are open with limited seating capacities for social distancing. No self-service buffets are available, and take-away meals are encouraged. New technology has been implemented to reduce contact where possible, including cashless/touchless pay options, mobile ordering and self-checkout. Visit UTSA Dining for up-to-date hours info.
PermalinkAre mask required to use Campus Recreation facilities?
Everyone must wear a face covering inside Campus Rec except when active on cardio equipment. All equipment has been spaced out according to physical distancing requirements to align with national guidelines and parameters set by the Public Health Task Force.
PermalinkWhat will happen to football season and Homecoming?
UTSA's football season is now underway with a comprehensive plan in place for fans to attend home football games as safely as possible at the Alamodome. The schedule for football games can be found on the UTSA Athletics website. UTSA students can attend home football games at no charge. More information about student tickets can be found here.

If I am taking all of my classes online, will there be any reason or need for me to be present on campus?
No. The fall 2020 semester is designed around accessibility and flexibility to allow students to complete the semester from home.
PermalinkHow are work study positions being handled?
Work study funding remains available to eligible students through their financial aid package. Positions will be available to students regardless of whether they are taking online or in-person classes. Some positions will be remote. Work study positions are posted on Handshake via the UTSA Career Center.
