Families of New Students

One of the best ways to support our students during this time is to make sure they are equipped with all the knowledge and resources they’ll need. Here are some important items that will help your student have a successful fall semester.

Orientation

Orientation & Rowdy Ready

If your student is newly admitted to UTSA this fall, be sure to have them review our Rowdy Ready checklist which includes signing up for Orientation.

Enrollment

Enrolling in Classes

New freshman and transfer students will need to meet, virtually, with their academic advisor to register for classes. Once your student completes orientation, their academic advisor will contact them via email to schedule a time to register.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid

We strongly recommend your student submit a FAFSA or TASFA. If circumstances change due to the pandemic, we can review financial aid packages to see how we can best assist you. Please contact UTSA One Stop for assistance.
