Conversations With Your Roadrunner

De-stressing Through the End of Semester

Final projects, papers, and presentations will begin for your student over the next few weeks. Your student’s stress level will probably increase once you mix that in with internships, work and relationships. Find ways to talk about stress and how you can support your roadrunner in managing their responsibilities. It may also be helpful to chat about plans for Thanksgiving break.

  • Take Five
    • What is your class workload for the remainder of the semester?
    • What are you doing for self-care?
    • Are you planning to go to a UTSA Take Five event?
  • Thanksgiving Break
    • Tell me about the friends you’ve made at college.
    • What do you each expect if your student returns home?
    • What do you hope to do while you are home for Thanksgiving?
    • Will you be visiting friends from high school while at home?
