Campus Standards & Planning

Our team provides leadership, vision and professional guidance in the planning, design and construction changes to the campus-built environment, including architecture, interior design and landscape architecture, in an effort to preserve, enhance and maximize the campus assets. This includes conceptual designs; initial planning of projects, including building site planning; needs assessments; and preliminary program, etc., required for compliance with UT System policies. We are also responsible for interpreting, implementing, monitoring and coordinating the development of UTSA’s Master Plan and any amendments. Our office ensures that development and changes to the built environment encompass an integrated approach toward the long-term sustainability and management of architectural, environmental, cultural and land resources.
