Roadrunner Remembrance 2024

The UTSA community will honor students, faculty, and staff who passed away in 2023 at Roadrunner Remembrance. The annual ceremony will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Student Union Retama Auditorium (SU 2.02.02). 

Roadrunner Remembrance will feature readings and music to recognize the contributions made to UTSA by the honorees. A feather is placed in a nest to symbolize and honor each Roadrunner’s legacy.  A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

A new addition to the event is an opportunity to paint a rock to be placed in the Memorial Garden as a token of affection for the deceased.

In previous years, families have asked how they may honor their loved one’s legacy at UTSA. The University has a pathway around the Student Union Paseo where bricks embossed with names and organizations are placed.
