UTSA Community Art classes are open enrollment. Open enrollment courses offer the opportunity for members of the community to learn from subject matter experts and network with fellow artists. In addition to printmaking, painting and drawing and ceramics, the Southwest Campus has unique studios and equipment for small metals and jewelry, papermaking and book arts, fibers and weaving, darkroom photography, and sculptural techniques.

The Southwest campus is known nationally for its outstanding facilities and for its exhibitions featuring regional, national, and international artists.
