Dear Business Affairs Familia,

Welcome to the first edition of our Business Affairs Connect newsletter, the new format for our monthly updates. The semester is well underway and our teams are busy supporting many important initiatives. We have several exciting projects on the horizon, including the National Security Collaboration Center, phase two of classroom upgrades, and the Southwest School of Art, among others. You play essential roles in leading these projects, and I remain grateful for your dedication.

We continue to monitor the public health situation in San Antonio, and appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we make adjustments to keep our community safe. I encourage each of you to review the COVID-19 reporting guidelines and do your part to protect our campus.

Strategic Planning

Over the past six months, the division of Business Affairs worked to create a strategic plan for our division. The process included interviews, a leadership retreat, town halls, and department feedback. We appreciate the comments received so far, and welcome future feedback as we continue to build a meaningful strategic plan for our division that reflects our shared priorities.
