Dear Business Affairs,

April brings one of my favorite San Antonio traditions – Fiesta. This month, I encourage you to take part in the local festivities as well as UTSA’s own exciting Fiesta events, including Día en la Sombrilla on April 25 and the Fiesta Arts Fair on April 26 and 27.

I’m also looking forward to the annual University Excellence Awards Ceremony which will be held on April 30 at the Main Campus. During this meaningful celebration, we will recognize our exceptional colleagues at UTSA, including our own Business Affairs nominees.

As we enjoy celebrations throughout the month, I hope you will also take a moment to appreciate the spring weather and focus on your own health and wellbeing. This is a great time of year to enjoy a walk on campus, attend a UTSA athletics event or explore the wonderful resources offered through the Employee Success Center.

Sincerely,

Veronica Salazar signature

@utsabusinessaffairs Have you arrived at #UTSA Main Campus via the northwest Barshop Boulevard entrance recently? If not, consider swinging by to see the new gateway monument. Completed in March, the monument proudly ushers visitors in to the west side of campus and features color-changing lights that sync with existing monuments.
