Walking Trails

UTSA offers 10 walking trails on the Main and Downtown campuses that make it easy for you to add fitness into your schedule. Whether you are an endurance walker or prefer a brisk 15-minute walk, you should take advantage of the trails on either campus. Consider it a mood booster to get you focused on the rest of your day!

Commissioned by the Eliminate Tobacco Task Force in November 2020, UTSA's walking trails are a great way to discover our campus and enjoy the fresh air and sounds of nature. Walking is an ideal cardio workout that offers benefits such as lowering heart disease risk, improving blood pressure and blood sugar levels, increasing bone density, strengthening hip, leg and core muscles and improving balance.

Start enjoying the trails today! Use your lunch hour to try out a trail or walk through multiple trails to see which one you like best.
