Purchasing Welcomes Jeffrey Miller and Antonio Monserrate
Jeffrey Miller joined Purchasing as the new administrative associate II, and will manage the department front desk, work with procurement staff in support of faculty, staff, and suppliers, as well as various procurement processes. Prior to joining the Purchasing team, Miller worked for the UTSA Athletics Department. He is a Texas A&M University graduate, and received his degree in sports management and a minor in business.
Antonio Monserrate is a procurement specialist II, and joined the department after a 20-year career in the United States Army, serving in various countries. Luckily for us, he and his family decided to call San Antonio home. Monserrate will provide procurement services for University Technology Services, Library, Extended Education, Academic Success, SBDC, P-20 and a number of other areas.
The department is excited to have Miller and Monserrate on the team. Although new to the department, both have already proven to be assets to the department, serving UTSA with dedication and experience.
