UT System Heart Walk Hosted at UTSA
UTSA’s Health and Wellness program led the UT System’s Heart Walk on Friday, Feb. 7. More than 200 employees from all three campuses attended this year’s annual walk. February is designated as American Heart Month to remind Americans to focus on their hearts and encourage friends and family to get involved. Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s global initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women.
Everyone enjoyed the event and was very excited to be walking for a good cause. The Health and Wellness program thanks the American Heart Association for giving a wonderful presentation on how to achieve and maintain a healthier heart. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s heart walk! Below are a few photos from the event.
