Learn About the Functional Integration Process

UTSA and UT Health San Antonio continue to make progress on our integration. An essential step is the functional integration process, which focuses on understanding the current state of each university division in order to design a transformative future state for the integrated university. Learn more about how the Integration Management Office will partner with each area of the university to work through this four-step process.

Housing and Residence Life Joins Campus Services

We're excited to share that Housing and Residence Life has officially joined the Campus Services team as of July, expanding our ability to serve the Roadrunner community. While many of the 17 full-time staff and 126 student employees are already familiar faces on campus, we’re delighted to welcome them into the Business Affairs family. Their experience and expertise will be a valuable addition as we continue working together to support our students and build a bright future for UTSA.

Let's Chat! Town Hall

Join us for a Business Affairs Let's Chat! Town Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 2 p.m. This virtual event will include an update on UTSA’s integration with UT Health San Antonio and highlights from across the division. The town hall presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Submit your questions in advance.

Performance Management: Self-Evaluations Due Soon

Performance management year-end self-evaluations are due Friday, Aug. 8. Once you complete your self-evaluation, be sure to finalize it by marking it “Complete” in PeopleSoft. To support you during the year-end process, the Employee Success Center offers a variety of online resources, including the Performance Management Rating Guide, helpful tips and training session recordings. For questions, contact the Employee Success Center.

Remember: Purchase Your Parking Permit for FY25

Make sure to purchase your new parking permit before the semester begins! A wide variety of permits are available to suit your needs and budget, including surface, garage, garage reserved and evening-only permits. Buy your permit now and pay later by choosing payroll deduction as your payment method. Deductions begin with the September pay cycle. Contact Campus Services if you have any questions about parking permits.

Explore the Employee Success Center

The Employee Success Center has a variety of resources and events coming up as we head into the fall semester! As a hub that supports the professional growth and wellbeing of UTSA staff, the center offers access to professional development, wellness events and other employee resources. On-campus counseling offered through the center will continue in the fall with an expansion to the Downtown Campus— sign up for the People Excellence Teams channel for the latest details! Just click the link, select "Open Microsoft Teams" and then press the "Join" button.

Reminder: Submit Communications Service Requests Early

The start of the fall semester is right around the corner, and requests for communication support begin to increase at this time. To ensure your project is in the BA Strategic Communications team’s queue, be sure to submit requests for support as early as possible. Requests for communications, creative services or web support are submitted through Basecamp by your area's communications point of contact. If you’re not sure who your area's points of contact are, send an email to bacomms@utsa.edu so we can assist.
