Employee Surface Permits
Surface permits allow parking in designated parking lots. Select permits offer Park Up options from 4:30pm – 6:00am weekdays and all day weekends.

*Single-use daily parking permits must be purchased by a UTSA student or employee at the BRG or XAG garage cashier stations on the Main Campus, or at Campus Services on the Downtown Campus.
Weekend and Evening Parking
Drivers can take advantage of permit-free parking options in Employee A, Employee B, and unmarked Commuter spaces only during the times below. This policy applies at both the Main and Downtown Campuses, regardless of permit status.
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Friday: 4:30 pm – 7:00 am the following Monday
Short-Term Hourly Parking
University affiliates and visitors can park at an hourly rate in the garages or select surface spaces. Save time by using a FastPass.
Prorated Rates and Refunds
Permit prices are set for the academic year and are prorated by month. If you no longer need your permit, visit a garage cashier window for a prorated refund through the last business day in February. View proration rates for 2020-21.Carpool Permits
