Risk & Emergency Management to host virtual winter weather seminar
Join Risk and Emergency Management at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 for a virtual winter weather preparedness seminar. Presented by the National Weather Service, this informational session will focus on topics including weather trends and expectations, winter weather science and safety-related best practices.
As part of Risk and Emergency Management’s ongoing mission toward enhancing emergency preparedness at UTSA, this seminar aims to increase awareness of winter weather hazards, initiate internal review of winter weather preparedness and safety procedures, and enable university leaders and campus community members to help foster institutional resilience.
All members of the Roadrunner community who are interested in this session are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event will be hosted on WebEx and is expected to last one hour.
