Disability Counseling and Liaison Activities
Services
Each student that submits documentation to Student Disability Services (SDS) is assigned to a Disability Specialist who will meet with the student to discuss appropriate accommodations. SDS professional staff are available to advise students with any disability-related concerns. Supportive and educational counseling is provided to assist students in developing and applying effective learning strategies and self-advocacy skills. SDS can also refer students to additional counseling resources on campus or in the community as well as advise students on how to effectively apply their accommodations in the classroom.
