Welcome to The University of Texas at San Antonio and Student Disability Services! Student Disability Services (SDS) is committed to the full inclusion of students with disabilities by promoting equal access for all University programs and activities and envisions a university environment that is committed to accessibility and inclusion. We advocate for students with disabilities to actively participate in all programs and services throughout UTSA and we engage students with disabilities by employing exemplary practices in disability counseling, assistive technology, alternative media, reasonable accommodations and the sharing of disability related information.

Even though the decision to use our services is a matter of individual choice, it is our experience that students achieve higher levels of academic and personal success when they seek out university support such as Student Disability Services. The student's responsibility is to become informed about and to make use of the resources and services that are available to all students at UTSA. Student Disability Services is available to answer questions related to accommodations and referrals as well as questions about general and specific services for students with disabilities.
