Crime Prevention
The UTSA Police Department’s (UTSAPD) Community Affairs Section works to educate our community on how they can keep themselves and others safe. Police and community partnerships create an opportunity to work together to improve the safety of our community. We are available to meet with university and local groups to coordinate public safety services. Our goal is to educate our students and the UTSA community on the services we offer and how they can prevent specific crimes and stay safe. UTSAPD has crime prevention specialists assigned to our Community Affairs Section — they are your partners in crime prevention.
