Sex Offender Registration Information
In compliance with state and federal law, UTSA provides information on registered sex offenders living on campus, taking classes or employed by the university. Public Safety obtains these records from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), which maintains registration information submitted by criminal justice agencies. Search by Name, Address, Zip Code, County or Institution of Higher Education using the Texas Department of Public Safety Public Sex Offender Registry.
We cannot guarantee that the records you obtain through the DPS site will be associated to the person you are seeking information on, as the searches are not always accurate. The only way to positively link someone to a sex offender record is through fingerprint verification. The information provided by DPS is an open record. It may be used by anyone for any purpose.
