Covid-19 Guidance for Students

Information on this page is specific to students at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Please carefully read the information below as it relates to the specific infectious disease listed.

COVID-19 Guidance

If you are exposed to COVID-19, experience symptoms or receive a positive test result, please review guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to protect yourself and others.

To keep yourself and the university community safe and healthy, follow these steps after reviewing the CDC’s guidance:

  • If you need medical care, contact Wellness 360 during their hours of operation. Call (210) 458-4142 and select option three. A nurse will screen you and set up an appointment, if necessary.
  • Alternately, you can schedule a telemedicine appointment through MyHealth or contact your personal medical provider and follow their instructions.
  • While you are ill, you may participate in fully remote classes if you feel well enough. For in-person or hybrid classes, you may participate remotely if you feel well enough and have the option to do so.
    • Notify your in-person course instructor(s) of your inability to come to campus and discuss your options with them.
UTSA remains committed to providing the best possible campus experience for everyone. By following the CDC’s guidance and the steps listed above, we can help ensure our community stays safe and healthy.
