What Is ESS?

Employee Self-Service (ESS) is a university platform where you can manage various administrative tasks. You can access ESS from the top of any web page on the UTSA website by clicking myUTSA. The following resources are available to help guide you through ESS:

Once you click on myUTSA, you will see Faculty/Staff Resources. Click on UTShare/PeopleSoft, which allows you to log in using your UTSA credentials. Once logged in, you will see the ESS page with tiles that are relevant to you. Click on Payroll and Compensation to view your options for your paystub, W-2, W-4 or direct deposit.
