New Hire Orientation

UT San Antonio's new employee orientation program is designed to give a broad overview of the university and your role in the Roadrunner community. You will learn about the university’s history and future, benefits, helpful resources and services, and important instructions and guidelines to ensure a positive and successful experience as a new employee.

Bold New Journey is typically held on the first three Mondays of each month. Dates can be found on the orientation calendar below. You will receive information about orientation the Thursday before your start date. Be sure to check your email for information regarding your employee credentials and important onboarding tasks to be completed as a part of your first week of employment. If you are unable to attend orientation, please contact Talent Acquisition.

New faculty participate in orientation by attending the New Faculty Academy, an annual program held at the beginning of each fall semester.

Persons of Interests (POIs), contract workers and student employees are exempt from attending Bold New Journey Orientation. Contact your assigned department for more information.

Last Day to Complete eForm

eForms must be fully approved before 10 a.m. on Tuesday prior to orientation, otherwise start date may be delayed. *All employee transfer eForms should be submitted no later than the 10^th of the current payroll month.
