At the University of Texas at San Antonio, students make up an important and valued part of the workforce. Through these opportunities, students are provided with support in pursuit of their academic goals and opportunities for academic or administrative job experience.

Undergraduate Students

There are more than 600 students in positions throughout various departments on campus. Each position is focused on developing the individual’s marketable leadership skills and career preparation. The student workforce is central to the operations of campus buildings and vital to programs and services. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for student employment positions. Graduate Students

There are several types of assistantships available to graduate students at UTSA. Specific job descriptions are available from the hiring department. Assignments cannot exceed 19 hours per week and there are minimum enrollment requirements for each position. Annual Campus Security Report

Each year The University of Texas at San Antonio publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. This report contains crime statistics and on-campus housing fire statistics for the three most recent calendar years. The report includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, crime reporting, sexual assault, and other crime-related issues.
