Wellbeing

Wellbeing Services - Safe Spring Break Event

UTSA utilizes an integrated approach to student health focused on wellness and Wellbeing to ensure all services, for both physical and mental health, are positioned to facilitate care that promotes student success and expands availability. On-Campus health care for UTSA students is provided by UT Health San Antonio Wellness 360 and the health care team is lead by Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. The TimelyCare app is the most accessible mental health resource for students.

Involvement and Engagement

Students have a variety of ways to get involved on campus and meet fellow Roadrunners. Speak with your student about exploring RowdyLink to learn about student organizations they can join to build a network of peers, gain marketable skills, explore professional experiences and develop leadership skills. UTSA also provides many opportunities for Roadrunners to build their resume through on-campus jobs, volunteer and service projects, or peer educator positions.

Community and Belonging

It is important your student feels connected to the UTSA community and has a sense of belonging within our Roadrunner family. The Student Union and Campus Recreation provide hang out space for students to connect with one another for studying, working out, or just having fun.  We encourage students to learn more about themselves and others through training or cultural programs and events that foster community and reflection.

Programs and Events

Campus traditions, programs, and events invite students to come together to connect to UTSA through learning and a shared Roadrunner spirit. The year starts with Roadrunner Days, two weeks of activities to welcome students to campus and introduce them to many different offices across the university. The Family Association Newsletter will provide information for events that are family-friendly and are opportunities to have a shared experience with your student.
