What is the quickest way to locate the status of a package?
The quickest way is with a tracking number.
What is a tracking number?
A tracking number is a unique group of numbers, or letters combined with numbers, assigned by the third-party carrier to identify your package.
How can I see if my package has arrived at UTSA?
Go to the third-party carrier's website, and enter the tracking number for a detailed delivery status report. The status report will provide a detailed summary status of where the package is located with time, date and location.
I checked on the status of my package and it was delivered to the university at 10 a.m. It is now 2 p.m., and my package has not been delivered.
If it was a ground delivery service, you will receive the package within two business days. If you need to receive the package sooner, let us know by sending an email to Central Receiving Warehouse or calling 4019, and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
My package was delivered priority to Central Receiving at 9 a.m. It is now 11 a.m. Where is my package?
Frozen and refrigerated packages are processed first. Other priority packages are delivered the same day.
We received an item that is on a PO. Do we need to have a receiving report generated for it? How do we get one?
When goods and services are received the department, the PO creator is responsible for creating the receiving report.
