How Do I Pay My Tuition Bill?
Fiscal Services has several options for tuition and fee payments.
- Pay online: Use RowdyPay to make payments by credit card or ACH (electronic check). Just log in to RowdyPay through myUTSA Account and click the RowdyPay app button on the "Menu: Fiscal Services" tile.
- Pay in person: You can pay by cash or paper check at Fiscal Services Main Campus or Downtown offices.
- Pay by College Savings Plan: You can pay using your prepaid or 529 plan. View College Savings Plans for more information.
- Pay by mail: Mail check, cashier’s check or money order (no cash) to:

Flexible Payment Options
Fall/Spring Installment Options
The university offers an easy way to pay your tuition and fees with installment plans available during the fall and spring semesters. For a one-time, non-refundable fee of $20, you can break up your total cost into smaller payments spread throughout the semester.
Armadillo Plan
- Initial payment: 30% of the eligible balance on the day you sign up for the plan
- Second payment: 35% due before the 6th week of classes
- Final payment: 35% due before the 11th week of classes
- Enrollment: You can sign up through the 20th class day of the semester
Roadrunner Plan
- Initial payment: $500 down on the day you sign up for the plan
- Second payment: 33% of remaining balance due before the 6th week of classes
- Third payment: 33% due before the 11th week of classes
- Final payment: 33% due before the 15th week of classes
- Enrollment: You can sign up through the semester’s Census Day
Summer Installment Options
Armadillo Summer Plan
- Initial payment: $250 on the day you sign up for the plan
- Second payment: 50% due before the 3rd week of classes
- Final payment: 50% due before the 7th week of classes
- Enrollment: Available through the first day of the summer semester
Additional Details
- Housing and meal plan charges are included only if they are posted to your account before you enroll in the plan.
- Installment amounts may vary due to account adjustments, such as adding or dropping classes, housing changes, meal plans or financial aid adjustments.
- The following charges are not part of the installment plan: parking, installment fees, property deposits, orientation, health insurance and testing fees.
- A $10 late fee is charged for each missed payment and a registration hold is placed on your student record.

- Select RowdyPay to sign up for your preferred installment plan
Other Ways to Pay Your Tuition
Please note: Title IV (Federal) financial aid cannot be used to pay loan interest, late fees, or installment plan fees. These charges must be paid using a different payment source.
