General Training
Services offered by the Employee Success Center
The Employee Success Center offers training opportunities for all employees. The following services are provided:
- Classroom trainings
- Leadership training
- Customized workshops
- Training support for team retreats
- Webinars
- Online learning modules
- Training needs assessments for individuals or teams on campus
- Change management support for managers and their teams
- Support for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Referrals for training resources
MyTraining is a Learning Management System that houses information related to training, including course registration and attendance tracking. Visit MyTraining to search current offerings. If you do not find what you are looking for, please submit a service request or email the Employee Success Center. If you are leading a training for your department and need it entered into MyTraining, please submit a ticket via ServiceNow.
Online Learning
The Employee Success Center partners with Subject Matter Experts at the university and with AllOne Health, our Employee Assistance Program, to provide various opportunities for online learning. Visit MyTraining to search topics of interest. Can’t find what you are looking for? Reach out to the Employee Success Center.
Our team works closely with university Subject Matter Experts to design and customize online learning modules. If you are interested in customized online learning modules for your department or team, please email the Employee Success Center. Our Instructional Designer will contact you regarding next steps.

All employees are required to complete annual compliance training. The purpose of annual compliance training is to ensure that all employees have the knowledge needed to comply with general university polices and relevant state/federal laws, as well as to promote a welcoming campus for the entire Roadrunner community.
Employees are notified by email of this requirement and the due date for completion. Visit Institutional Compliance and Risk Services for more information.
Microcredentials

Coursera Career Academy
The university, in partnership with the UT System and Coursera, is proud to present Coursera Career Academy. Students, faculty, staff and alumni can access courses and certificates at no cost. The expanded partnership represents the most extensive industry-recognized microcredential program from a U.S. university system.

Coursera Career Academy Account Setup
- Use the the university's Coursera link to access Coursera Career Academy. Click “Join” in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click “Sign Up” in the pop-up box and complete the form using your "utsa.edu" email. Click “Join for Free” to initiate a confirmation email.
- Check your inbox for an email from Coursera and follow the “Confirm Email Address” link.
- Return to Coursera Career Academy to verify your email and select “Join Program.”
