Fall Employee Wellness Resources and Events
The following message was sent by Katy Madden, Vice President, to all faculty and staff on Oct. 1
The health and wellbeing of our Roadrunner community is at the heart of all we do. That’s why People Excellence is proud to offer a wide range of programs and resources designed to support faculty and staff. We encourage employees to explore these opportunities, including comprehensive wellbeing and wellness events, detailed below.
Support for Your Wellbeing
The AllOne Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential, no-cost support for benefits-eligible employees, as well as household members and dependents. This includes mental health support, financial consultations, work/life balance resources and much more.
In addition to the EAP, essential mental health and wellness resources are available through services such as MDLIVE and Headway. Many services offer no-copay virtual care through UT SELECT, making support easily accessible.
Crisis and On-Campus Support
If you or someone you know is in crisis, dial 988 for immediate access to 24/7 confidential help through the National Lifeline.
Free, confidential, on-campus counseling sessions are also available at the following times:
- Downtown Campus: Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Main Campus: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wellness Events
On Oct. 2, People Excellence will launch the first Wellness Vendor Pop-Up event at the Main Campus H-E-B Student Union Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun, free event is open to faculty and staff and is your chance to discover wellness offerings, including Airrosti, Alliance for Therapy Dogs, Blue Cross Blue Shield, San Antonio Sports and more!
Stay Connected and Informed
To stay informed about all upcoming wellness events (including vaccination clinics, campus walks and more), we encourage employees to:
- Sign up for the Wellness Teams channel
- Bookmark the Employee Success Center Training and Events flyer
The Employee Success Center serves as your hub for professional growth, wellness and resources. We regularly share information through the People Excellence Teams channel and the UT San Antonio email digest shared each Monday.
As part of our ongoing commitment to employee wellness, we will continue expanding and enhancing our programs to build a stronger, healthier Roadrunner community.
