Dual Employment
Per HOP 1.33, all employees are required to disclose all outside activities, to include Dual Employment, annually, and within 30 days of a change. An employee is considered "dual employed" when holding two or more State of Texas jobs.
Current employees looking at accepting an additional State of Texas job must contact People Excellence prior to beginning employment with a second State of Texas employer. Employees must complete a Dual Employment Request Form to initiate the process. People Excellence will partner with the appropriate office at the secondary State of Texas employer to review and approve the request for dual employment.
For any questions Dual Employment, please contact your HR Business Partner HR Business Partner.
