Maintenance

Our team can assist you with troubleshooting electronic access-related issues across UTSA campuses. If there are maintenance issues regarding card readers, electronic locks, key boxes, panic buttons, lockdown buttons, security cameras and emergency phones, or issues relating to keys, do not hesitate to bring this to our attention. 

Submit your maintenance request via email to Security Services. A technician will reach out to coordinate and ensure the issue is resolved as soon as possible. Be sure to include the building, door number and issues you are experiencing.

Below are additional examples of access-related issues your department may experience.

  • The lights on our card reader are not on and the door is not unlocking when I swipe.
  • The light on the card reader turns green when I swipe but the door is not unlocking.
  • My key no longer turns in the door core.
  • Can I test my panic button to ensure it is operational?
  • The card reader is red, but the door is not locked or secured.
  • The panic button is damaged.
  • Emergency phone not working.
  • Security camera concerns.
