Corporate Cup

 

Ready for some fun and competition that supports a great cause? Join us for the annual San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup. Events and activities take place throughout the spring, concluding with the main event June 1, 2024 at the University of the Incarnate Word.

This annual event is an exciting opportunity for the university to engage with the community by embracing the spirit of competition in activities ranging from the challenging—a relay race and basketball tournament—to the humorous—a hula hoop challenge and potato sack race.

In addition to being a fun, team-building event, Corporate Cup helps support our most important resource: our children. All proceeds from Corporate Cup help provide sports and fitness programs for San Antonio’s underserved youth.

  • May 1-26: RBFCU T-shirt contest voting period
  • May 26: Participant registration closes

  • May 31: University Health 3v3 Basketball Tournament
  • June 1: Corporate Cup Main Event at UIW

Register for the Corporate Cup

Employees interested in playing or volunteering for the 2024 Corporate Cup must register for their preferred sporting events through RunSignUp. Please note that a limited number of participants are allowed per sporting event. Sporting event registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The RunSignUp platform allows you to create or sign up for races and clubs, keep track of your registrations and memberships, manage account information and activity, and much more. Before registering for the 2024 UTSA Team, participating employees must create a RunSignUp Account.

Please Note: Only current UTSA faculty and staff are permitted to register for participation in official Corporate Cup events as part of Team UTSA.

First-time User Login Instructions

Follow the instructions below to register for the RunSignUp platform.

  1. Visit RunSignUp
  2. You will be prompted to provide the following information:
    • First and Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Password
    • Address, City, Country, State, and Zip
  1. Click Create Account and you're all set!
  2. Join Team UTSA using the direct registration link.

Returning Users

If you created a RunSignUp account registering for last year's Corporate Cup, please use the same password and username to log in.

Please note that each event has specific registration requirements. Contact your Team Captain if you receive a “Full” registration message for a specific competition. This message could be due to the event already having reached the maximum number of employees allowed, or your team may have reached the number of required gender specific registrants for that event.

 

Ways to Participate

For those who wish to support Team UTSA but are unable to participate in a sporting event, there are other ways to join the fun. Whether it’s volunteering to help facilitate an event, donating to a charity, voting on T-shirts or just cheering from the sidelines, there are lots of ways to get involved.

Corporate Cup TailgateShow off your Roadrunner Pride at the UTSA Tailgate

In the spirit of fun and camaraderie, we encourage all UTSA employees to show off their Roadrunner pride at the 2024 Corporate Cup tailgate! Bring your Game Day spirit and enjoy complimentary food, and refreshments while catching up with colleagues.

Opportunities for UTSA Family Members

UTSA employee family members are encouraged to join the fun by joining the 2024 Corporate Cup 2K Walk. The 2K Walk is open to all ages and will not require family members to register through the RunSignUp platform.

Corporate Cup T-ShirtThe RBFCU T-Shirt Design Contest will count towards the overall points totals. Anyone and everyone can vote daily for the 2024 Team UTSA T-Shirt. Click the link below to vote daily!

One of the biggest parts of the San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup is giving back to the charities that sponsor this event. As of May 10 the Charity Challenge is closed. To view Team UTSA donations & overall Team Score visit the 2024 Results & Scoring webpage.

In accordance with UIW’s Public Safety and Traffic Plan for events, UW Campus entrances on Hildebrand will be closed and NO parking will be allowed on the lower campus. Participant parking is available in the following areas:

  • Upper Campus
    • McCombs garage-180 spaces (most accessible parking to stadium-elevator available to walkway oon field level)
    • Ancira garage-800 spaces
    • Hillside garage-80 spaces
  • Founder’s Hall
    • Approximately 900 spaces available

San Antonio Sports will provide childcare services for participants during the event. Games and activities will be offered for kids ages 4-14, and will include duck-duck goose, volleyball, sack races, hula hoops, bean bag toss, and much more! Be sure to register. Kids Zone will open at 7:00 a.m. on June 1.
