UT System Physical Activity Challenges

Spring and Fall Fitness Challenges
Each fall and spring, UT System hosts fitness challenges designed to increase your fitness goals as part of a team and boost your physical and mental wellbeing. These annual events challenge employee-formed teams to log their physical activities as part of a friendly competition against other UT System institutions. Activities and requirements may slightly vary from challenge to challenge.
Spring Forward Challenge Information
UT System is currently hosting the Spring Forward Challenge! From [date] to [date], you and your team of 3-5 coworkers will try to collectively reach 1 million steps by taking part in any physical activity (e.g. walking, running, gardening, or anything that gets you up and moving). Participants can choose to manually enter physical activity via the UT Living Well platform or, if you already have a fitness device, you can download the Limeade app through the App store or Google Play to sync your device to track your steps throughout the challenge.
After your team reaches its fitness goal, all team members will receive bonus points on the UT Living Well platform, which can be redeemed for various rewards such as gift cards, merchandise or other offers.

How to Sign Up
Signing up for a challenge is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below to get started.
- Visit the UT Living Well platform (powered by Limeade) and create an account if you haven’t already done so.
- Complete the Wellbeing Assessment (optional) to personalize your experience.
- Navigate to the “Discover” tab, select the appropriate activity and then add it to your dashboard.
- Join an existing team or create your own team of 3-5 colleagues.
